The club were founder members of the Ryman premier league in the year 1968 and came close to promotion in to the football league at the end of the 1988 – 89 seaosn as they finished off in third place in the conference. They eventually won the conference at the end of the 2001 – 2002 seaosn and have now established themselves as a football league club. They enjoyed winning the Lincs senior cup at the end of the 2005 – 2006 seaosn as they beat Scunthorpe 2-1 in the final.
